St Columba's Prep School is for boys 4 - 11 years old

Class Structure

The Pre-Prep is divided into three year groups. Each Form group has no more than 18 pupils.

• 2 x Pre-Prep 1 classes 4 - 5 years old
• 2 x Pre-Prep 2 classes 5 - 6 years old
• 2 x Pre-Prep 3 classes 6 - 7 years old

Timings of the School Day

All pupils attend full-time 8.40am-3.25pm

Creche Facility

Before school from 8.00am - 8.40am Monday - Friday
After school Monday-Thursday 3.25pm-5.30pm (Chargeable)

Meals and Refreshments

At morning break between 10.30am - 10.55am, the boys have a drink, fruit and a snack.
Lunchtime is between 12.25pm-1.05pm; the boys can have a hot lunch or may bring a packed lunch.
There is a play time session between 1.05pm-1.45pm.

The Prep School is divided into four year groups. Each Form group has no more than 24 pupils, with smaller sets for English and maths.

• 2 x Prep 2 classes 8-9 years old
• 2 x Prep 3 classes 9-10 years old
• 2 x Prep 4 classes 10-11 years old

All pupils attend full-time 8.25am-3.35pm

Extended Day Facilities

There is supervision before school from 8.00am - 8.25am Monday - Friday
Extended Day activities run Monday - Thursday 3.45pm - 4.45pm
After-School Care is available Monday - Thursday 3.45pm - 5.30pm (Chargeable)

Meals and Refreshments

Morning break is from 10.55am-11.10am.
Lunchtime is 12noon-1.00pm; the boys can have a hot lunch or may bring a packed lunch.
There is an afternoon playtime session from 2.35pm-2.50pm.
