Ministry Team

St Columba’s College ministry team is made up of staff, students and chaplain, Fr Tim Edgar, committed to ensuring that the charism of the school is fostered and developed.

 

This involves providing programmes for the whole school community for growth in the Catholic ethos of the school. These include:

 

  • liturgies - there are six school masses per year as well as confessions and special liturgical events on significant days
  • retreats - provided both in-house and by the SPEC team in London Colney
  • charitable and service opportunities throughout the year
  • assemblies.

 

The Youth Ministry Team is very active in the school, especially in the area of charitable and education programmes. For 2008-2009, the team has set itself the goal of raising £10,000 for CAFOD and its work in Africa and Brazil.
