Inaugural CCF Regimental Dinner

Senior School Events

The College’s first CCF Regimental Dinner was truly a success. What a wonderful way to celebrate the growing numbers, successes and promotions within the school’s CCF.  Along with a lovely three course dinner, the boys were initiated into the traditions of the Mess dinner, to include the various toasts to the Queen, Regiment and School, the passing of the Port/Ribena to the left, and the passing of the place cards and associated forfeits!

A huge thank you must go to Old Columbans Captain Peter Goodfellow, Second Lieutenants Graeme Lye and Peter Hissey and Staff Sergeant Justin Foley for joining us in full military dress for the dinner and sharing all their experiences with the boys. We must also thank SSI Pat Burns for bringing this dinner together and Acting Contingent Commander Peter Jackson for hosting.
