Travelling to St columba's
By Air
Luton airport is hte nearest airport to the College (15 minutes by road), Heathrow and Stansted (30 minutes by road) and Gatwick (60 minutes by road, direct by rail on Thameslink). All are within easy reach of St Albans via hte UK motorway network.
By Rail
Rail users may travel to mainline station St Albans (20 minutes from Kings Cross) and from there it is a 10 minute taxi journey.
From the North (M1 and M10)
At the end of the M10 take the first exit onto the A5183 St Albans (Watling Street). At the first mini-roundabout, facing the King Harry Pub turn left and then immediately right at the second mini-roundabout. The entrance to the College is after 200 meters on the right.
From the North and East (A1M)
Follow the A1M through the Hatfield Tunnel and take the immediate exit. Follow the signs towards St Albans. At the second roundabout take the third exit (A414) and conttinue to the next roundabout. Take the fourth exit (A5183) and go up Watling Street to the first minir-oundabout facing the King Harry Pub. Go left at the mini-roundabout and immediately right at the next onto King Harry Lane.. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.
From M25 Anti-clockwise
Leave the M25 at Junction 22 and follow the A1081, St Albans. At the first roundabout bear left onto A414 and continue to the M10 ruondabout. Take the fourth exit (A5183) and and go up Watling Street to the first minir-oundabout facing the King Harry Pub. Go left at the mini-roundabout and immediately right at the next onto King Harry Lane.. The entrance to the College is after 200 metres on the right.
