Prefects in the Senior School develop a strong sense of responsibility through fulfilling their duties. ISI Report, January 2015

The College expects its boys to embrace the leadership opportunities entrusted to them and to serve as role models for the younger students.

Students in the Sixth Form are responsible for assisting staff with duties and supervising the younger students during ‘wet lunch’. They also lead assemblies, take charge of Counter Bullying Week and are integral to the smooth running of Parent Consultations and Open Days.

The Prefect team is selected at the end of the Lent Term in the Lower Sixth and serves the College for the whole year. The Senior Prefect team is made up of the Head Boy, two Deputy Head Boys and six House Captains, who play a key role in leading the rest of the Prefect team, as well as the six Senior School Houses. The Prefect team acts as a bridge between students and staff and also helps to coordinate the Student Council, charity work, and links with alumni and the Prep Department.
