The College's extra-curricular provision is excellent. Dedicated and enthusiastic staff provide a wide range of activities to meet the interests of the pupils. ISI Report, January 2015
Pupils from Reception to Prep 6 are invited and encouraged to take part in the Prep School’s comprehensive extra-curricular programme, which provides a dazzling array of opportunities for them to learn new skills, develop new interests and have fun. Our children regularly provide input into the list of clubs we run, as we want to offer activities we know they will enjoy.
The programme of activities changes each term, so that children can try different clubs throughout the year and every child will find something to enjoy and be challenged by.
Sports clubs include the traditional (rugby, football and cricket), in addition to specialist clubs like tennis, fencing, golf and swimming. Arts and crafts are complemented by construction and Warhammer clubs. Those pupils who enjoy music will like our Samba club, while those who may like a different kind of performance will revel in our circus skills club.
Extra-curricular clubs provide the perfect balance to the rigours of the school day and the fact that so many of our pupils participate in them is endorsement of their great popularity. Logical thinkers will stretch their minds in our science, computer, or coding clubs, while those with an interest in music may want to join one of our many choirs, bands or orchestras.
