Pupils readily identify additional adult figures who provide counselling and pupils who can help them, such as 'buddies' and trained pupil mentors. ISI Report, January 2015

Each Sixth Form student acts as ‘Buddy’ to a boy in Form 1 or 2.

The primary aims of the Buddying Programme are to encourage links with the wider College community and to allow students to act as role models, providing friendship, advice and support to younger boys. A ‘Buddying’ Prefect helps to coordinate the programme, which includes advice on settling-in and target-setting. Students are encouraged to meet informally with their ‘Buddy’ during break and lunchtimes, in addition to the formal half-termly slot allocated as part of the pastoral programme.
