Academic and Pastoral Mentoring

Pupils readily identify additional adult figures who provide counselling and pupils who can help them, such as 'buddies' and trained pupil mentors. ISI Report, January 2015

The College expects its boys to embrace the leadership opportunities entrusted to them.

The school trains a group of students in a mentoring programme. They use their training and experience to help younger students with a variety of pastoral issues. There is also the opportunity to be a ‘subject mentor.’ This is a great honour and the students work closely with the respective subject leader to promote and foster a passion for the subject in younger pupils.

Leadership is demonstrated in every sphere of College life, enabling the students to acquire those skills and character, which will serve them well in the future.
